Congratulations!

A big shout-out to some of our SSD pupils, past and present!

Congratulations Jack and Joel!

A huge congratulations to Jack and Joel, who successfully auditioned for a place at Central School of Ballet and will commence their full-time training at the Central studios in London in September 2019. Jack and Joel have been dancing at SSD for many years; this is a fantastic achievement, and we are so proud of them!  Whilst we are very sad to see them leave, we are of course absolutely thrilled for the boys and wish them every success for the future.  We can’t wait to follow and support them through this exciting next step of their dance careers!

Congratulations Anna!

Congratulations to Anna Bull, former SSD pupil who has recently graduated from Millennium Performing Arts College!

Anna joined SSD at 3 years old – taking classes in ballet tap and modern – and danced with us for many years before leaving to continue her training at MPA, studying for her BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre.  Anna developed an extensive repertoire whilst at MPA, taking classes in dancing, singing and acting, and performing many well-known dance numbers on stage – the ‘Cell Block Tango’ from Chicago being just one example!  Well done Anna – we are very proud and wish you lots of luck with your upcoming auditions and every success for the future!

Congratulations Katie!

Congratulations to Katie Mayfield, former SSD pupil who also is a successful Graduate!

Katie joined us at a young age – taking classes in all genres – and at 19, left to continue her training at The Brighton Academy, studying for her BA in Musical Theatre.  Whilst at The Brighton Academy, Katie starred in a number of productions; notably playing the lead role of ‘Campbell’ in the Academy’s Graduates show of Bring It On! Katie now joins the professional world of musical theatre!  We’re very proud of you Katie – well done and we cannot wait to watch you again in your next production – good luck!
